Meet Your Freedom Health Systems Team

Michael Bauer, MD

Dr. Bauer is a dual board-certified physician in both Family Medicine and Sports Medicine. He approaches medicine with a "patient comes first" mentality working with patients to develop individualized treatment plans as opposed to a one size fits all. After co-founding Freedom Health Systems with his wife Kelbie in 2021, Dr. Bauer has become a premier Iovera provider focusing on non-opioid pain management techniques for joint pain. Outside of medicine, Dr. Bauer's main passions include his faith life with Christ and spending quality time on adventures with his wife and 3 children.

Kelbie Abercrombie, PA-C

Kelbie is the co-founder and owner of Freedom Health Systems, bringing 15 years of experience as a Physician Assistant to her work in both surgical and emergency care. She and her husband, Dr. Bauer, have practiced medicine side by side since 2013, founding Freedom Health Systems to create a place where patients feel truly heard and cared for. While passionate about medicine, Kelbie’s greatest joy is raising their three children and teaching young children about the Bible through Bible Study Fellowship. She sees her work as both a calling and a ministry—sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ while using her God-given gifts to serve others.

Luke Livgren, FNP

Luke is a dedicated nurse practitioner at Freedom Health Systems, blending his background in emergency and cardiovascular care with a passion for functional and holistic medicine.
